Kathy Clarke, is a community stroke advisor with the Stroke Foundation. Strokes are the second single biggest killer in New Zealand and the main cause of serious adult disability.  More than 11,000 people a year suffer strokes–about one every 45 minutes. The frequency has increased by 24 percent in the last three years and the rise is forecast to continue.  At this point, you are probably feeling a bit vulnerable at the moment so please attend and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!
