You don't know the half of it

You might have heard of our famous book sales, taken part in one of our crazy jumbo tennis tournaments, or, perhaps, you’ve noticed the iconic wheel on one of the dozens of popular community facilities Rotarians have rolled up their sleeves to create.

Maybe, you still cherish fond memories of the life-changing youth exchange that was co-ordinated and sponsored by Rotary. Or, it could be you’ve seen us doing all manner of crazy stuff to raise funds for one of our biggest international causes: ending polio.

Here at the Rotary Club of Dunedin Central, as well as supporting Rotary’s overarching initiatives, our key projects include: The Great New Zealand Lego Show, apples in schools, dictionaries in schools and many more community based fundraisers.

At the Rotary Club of Dunedin Central, we also pride ourselves on being welcoming, encouraging, supportive and innovative.

Whatever your experience of Rotary, we can almost guarantee one thing. You don’t know the half of it.

Globally, more than 1.2 million Rotarians have a joint mission to make the world a better place, and that starts right here at home.

Like each of Rotary’s 33,000 clubs across the planet, at the Rotary Club of Dunedin Central, we bring our own localised approach to Rotary service. As well as serving our community, we put a premium on looking after our members through wide-ranging support and development opportunities.

Whether you’d like to explore joining our club, are keen to talk to us about partnering with you on your next big project, or you’re looking for some type of backing to realise a life-enhancing dream, our club offers a mighty warm welcome mat, together with some pretty impressive skills and resources that we’re here to share.

So, please feel free to contact Eleanor Archer, you can email Eleanor here to chat about how we can help, or to arrange to attend one of our meetings.

We meet every Tuesday at the Dunedin Club, 33 Melville Street, Dunedin, at 5.30pm.
